Restored. Solid wood (looks to be walnut), 3-drawer, handmade dresser. Amazing craftsmanship! You can see the hand-cut dovetail joints and assembly with humble square cut nails.
All of the drawers are still very sturdy and slide easily. Rough-sawn plank back. I'm unsure if the top was original to the piece, but it was coming off and heavily scratched, so I sanded and refinished it with a dark espresso stain and dark walnut Danish oil. I think the new finish compliments/contrasts well. It looks quite handsome now!
They literally don't make them like this anymore. It's lasted for around 150 years and should do another 150 in a loving home.
